    DVF's Second Bugtour

For everyone out there: don't forget the second edition of our bugtour which will take place on the 29th of May. To join in just mail me and I send you more details.
A lame excuse won't be taken as a reason for not being there. So everyone who likes his ride and does the things with it where it was designed for (not just standing in your garage), be there and join this event.
    Greetz, the DVF-crew.

    Bugtour #2

Yesterday DVF rode the Bugtour #2 as a test and is was a very nice trip. Those of you who will ride with us, won't regret it. The trip will start @ 'De Sebastiaan ' in Lochristi where we will welcome you @ around 9 with a small breakfast. After breakfast and some explanation we head off for a 2 hours trip (with a small pitstop of course) to the Netherlands. The dinner should take place in Groede. It will be a big buffet with a lot of variety so there will be something for everyone. At the restaurant in Groede (see picture) is a big parkinglot which is going to be VW only that day so everyone will have a nice place to leave their pride and joy on. After dinner, a walk on the beach and those of you who like a dip in the sea (but don't forget your badingsuit or you'r ruining your nice interior), we cruise back to Ghent...
Due to the cost the price should be around 25 euro/person for the whole day (a special price for children under 11 will be possible). So if you want to join in on the second edition keep the date free ( 29th of May 2005) and get your money ready (reservation will be necessary). Information about where to make the reservation is to follow so stay tuned.
Greetz, the DVF-crew and just be there.

    Radikal Bugz

Very cool slammed Variant on 17"BRM's. The guys at Radikal Bugz make their own narrowed frontbeams for type threes to drop their rides on the ground. They don't only slamm type threes but do it to the whole VW-family.
For more info check out their blog @ http://radikalbugz.skyblog.com/.

    Viva Mexico part 3

Life in Mexico can be really nice. Imagine yourself behind the steeringwheel of a Beetle with the tunes of Lenny in the background: Mr Cabdriver...
Look at the face of the cabdriver, told you life can be beautiful.

    Viva Mexico part 2

Those crazy Mexicans must think: No need for a license plate, my car rides as good without it and it fucks up the look of my ride.

    Viva Mexico

Do it the Mexican way: fit stylish hubcaps, add some wild stickers, colorcode the whole deal, put some Tequila-bottles under the bonnet for that slammed look and you have yourself a very nice Mexican-Look bug.
I would like to thank my girls parents for the nice pictures they send me straight from Mexico.

    The place 2B

DVF Tip: if you're in the Ghent and you seriously need to part with the things that are pushing down in your pants, I suggest you stop at Nicolas place where you can enjoy your daily needs in a better way with a lot of nice things to look at. And if that is just not enough, he will be happy to borrow you some of his favorite magazines while your are busy. Thanks Nicolas for the great moments I've already spent there. Greetz Wim.

    Car wash

First thing Tim did when he got his '64 Notch was starting to wash it. I must say it took him a few hours to do it and he was pretty thirsty afterwards.

    Bugtour #2 Lookalike

This is how our Bugtour #2 should look like but with a lot more cars off course. Shot was taken @ a DVF-trip to Veeren in Holland.

    DVF's type 3 line-up Part2

And we don't want to forget to mention that Tim's girl also owns a nice Notch. It's the Keith-Seume-signed Notch who belonged to Steve a few years ago. So 4 Notches in one Club is pretty good I think. Maybe we should organise a Type-Three-Day like those guys in Japan do. Check it out @ http://members.jcom.home.ne.jp/malook/t3day/t3day.html.

    DVF's type 3 line-up

DVF's type three line up is still growing. A few weeks a go Pascal joint in on our Club and by this weekend Tim should have his type three he just bought. It's a 1964 Notch with Push-button-dash. Way to go Tim.

    How low can you go?

How low can you put your lovely notch? According to the guys at Kustom Coach Werks very low and still get it driveable. Check out their new site @ http://www.kustomcoachwerks.com/. Are those adjustable narrowed frontbeams for type 3 already available in Belgium?
