Bugtour #2
The organisation of our second Bugtour is finished, so we thought is about the time to give you the possibility the join in. As you might already know, the Bugtour will take place on the 29th of May. Here's how the day should look like. The tour starts @ De Sebastiaan in Lochristi (near Ghent) at about 9 o'clock where we'll welcome you with a small breakfast. At about 9.30 the first cars should leave to head down to The Netherlands. Half way through the first part of the rally, you will be able to stop to enjoy aircooled life with a drink. After that we continue and head down to a restaurant in Groede where lunch is planned and for those of you who like the seaside, a walk down the beach. To give the contenders enough parkingplace, the parking of the restaurant will be VW-only. After this stop the trip continues back to Belgium to end this beautiful day in Steve's VW-shop new store (Bugtour special). Steve will welcome us in his new shop with a drink and tidbits. This whole package is offered you for the very reasonable price of ? 22.5 pp and ? 7.5 for those of you who aren't 12 yet. To join in just pay your inscription fee @ 001-3414532-14 with your name and emailadress or phonenumber so we can corfirm your inspriction. If you have unanswered questions just mail me @ wim.devincke@pandora.be . See U then. Greetz the DVF-crew

Better shot of the nice ride I passed. I showed him the international 'hangloose'-sign while passing by. If I'm not mistaking, this must be the ride of Jelle, the guy behind another blog http://dragvws.skynetblogs.be/. Greetz to Jelle.

Nice narrowed front beam for all type threes homemade by Gianni of the Radicalbugz. I wonder how my ride would look like with such a frontbeam mounted into place. Just massive I think. More info on http://radikalbugz.skyblog.com/. These guys slamm everything to the ground.

Rear end of Nicolas ride. This bug is still running strong after all the abuse I did with the engine when it still was the powerplant of my daily driven Mexican bug about 5 years ago (my bug is currently undergoing of full resto and will come back in a complete other disguise). It's a pretty basic 1600 setup with dual carbs, lightened flywheel and aftermarked exhaust. This one is from BAS but when drove this mild combo it featured a S&S header with Turbo-muffler which looks better in my opinion.
