HoodRide
Remember the 'Neukebeut' , the 60 shitty bug that my girl took to Spa. Well I can't help thinking to give the 'Neukebeut' a transformation into a true HoodRide. The 'Neukebeut' would make a great HoodRide, slammed to the max with narrowed frontbeam and a lot of patina which is already there. I must admid that I'm sort of addicted to Rust Is Right'-website. Check it out at http://www.hoodride.com/.

Another goodie from e-bay. Original Simca Rally seats. Great seats for your period perfect Looker. These pair of seats were sold for a very low price. And the lucky winner is ...

Most Ugly Decklid Ever
Found this 'nice' goodie on e-bay. Strange but true, some people don't hesistate to buy the most ugly VW decklid ever produced on the world and this for the crazy amount of 76 euros. This guy must have completly lost it.

Bad Luck
When disatser strikes, things can really turn out bad. Ask Mark from Gezuvor. Due to the bad wheater there, his beautiful '67 type 34 got stuck in his underground garage which overflowed. After a few days under water the car is out of the garage and Mark started with the cleaning of this nice ride. Hope he gets everything sorted out in no time and gets his ride on the road soon. For more updates on the disaster keep on visiting http://gezuvor.skynetblogs.be. Keep your head up Mark and good luck.

Period picture of a early Old School bug getting ready to hit to quarter mile. Free mojito for for the person who can date this picture correctly. Competition not open for DVF'er. Too bad guys I know you love my mojito's.

Interior Goodies 2
Well it's a very cool-looking period VDO rev-counter that works on the only 6V I have in my ride. I've picked it up the swapmeet in Spa and it fits the dash perfectly, don't you all agree? Who cares what you think anyway, I have to look at it whole the time, not you.

Pinstriping Part 2
Nice or what? Tim does it the old fashioned way. Not with your average carpaint, but with the real deal: genuine pinstriping paint and brushes. True work of art. Keep up the good work Tim. I can't wait for my car to be pinstriped by this talented MF'er.

Pinstriping Part 1
So far the pics of Le Bugshow. During the moment that we spent our time home, Tim practiced his pinstripping skills on Geert's bug. Watch out for Tim's work 'cause a lot of cars will be pinstripped by this talented MF'er (including my ride).

Last Wednesday, some members of DVF filled up their rides to start the cruise to Spa, but first we stopped in Waterloo for the DAS Cruisenight. In the front Tim's notch (L) and my ride (R), in the back Swedish import old racer nicknamed 'Neukebeut' (R) and Nicolas Looker (L). My girl drove the 'Neukebeut' all the way to Waterloo but complained about the dodgy suspension.
