Fat Sprintstars
Yesterday, I went to Ffred, the famous 1500S guru (http://vw1500s.skynetblogs.be/), to pick up these two Sprintstars at a very reasonable price. These are not the usual 4.5 inch but the original 5.5 inch versions. After some sandblasting and a new two-color-paintjob (silver and black) these beauties will look as new. If everything goes to plan, they'll find their way on the back of El Picaro with some fat rubber wrapped around them.
Latest update of El Picaro: I hope to get the chassis and body back home by the end of the month, so the real work can get started. If you want to know all the smallest details about my project ride, just stay tuned.
