356 Powerplant
Could this be the ultmate engine to be mounted in the back of your Bug? The set-up certainly does it for me. Check the twin carbs, Bosch distributor and oil filter.
As a mather of fact, it is a Porsche 356 engine (enginecode 616/1 making it a 1600 normal engine produced between 1960 and 1963) which needs a little refreshment.
Does anyone has a clue about this aftermarked exhaust set-up? It certainly isn't original but should give a little more power.
