Meeting Doornik
Last weekend, left there homebase to visit the meeting of the Lady Bugs of Rumes in Doornik. It was boiling hot but we hit off anyway to have a fine aircooled day. Here you see Ollie cruising his newest ride behind Wimmes Notch and Jelles firebreathing monster.
Some aircooled heads needed fuel so we made a quick stop to fill them up and continued our way. Once at the meet, we set up a smal display includin my notch, Timmes 59, Fieliepkes Looker, Jells Gasser and Nicolas 67'er. Sadly a full display wasn't possible due to an allready overloaded parkinglot...
The meeting was filled with a lot of dropped rides with seems the be the next big thing together with the Hoodride inspired ones but some very fine tradiononal Looke turned up as well. For you to make up your mind what you prefer...

Type 3 Lovers Blog
These two Austrian Lovers of the Third Kind started a blog some time ago. These Fast and Notch are both very nice rides with some good horsepower as the 1500 S white of blue is powered by some massive type 4 power and can use the line-lock to perform some smoking burn-outs. Want to know more? Just check their blog here.

Other DVF-ride
And while we're on the subject of new DVF-rides, this is Dr Jeckill's latest ride. As usual he brought this 58 or 59 bubbla all the way from Sweden, so this bubbla can spend the rest of its life in the better Belgium evironments. The exterior looks a little scruffy but the pan has allready been given the works and is pretty much spot on. Like you can see for yourself, the interior has had its layer of black paint. As we'd all expected Dr Jeckill has also big plans with this ride as it seems that he's going to keep it. So we're all waiting for transformation of this ride and I'll keep you updated so stay tuned...

New DVF-ride pt 2
This weekend, Ollie started the works on his Cab. The engine is allready in situ, wheels have been changed for some Sprint Stars and for some strange reason, he changed the decklid in favor of a flat black one. Ride is allready looking better but needs some more interior work to get it displayable...

Faller
Last weekend, my girl and I set up a big fiesta 'cause we are a couple for 10 years allready. The fiesta was really nice with some DVF'ers enjoying the cocktails way to much. I'm not going into names 'cause if you know DVF a little you can allready guess who got a little overboard. But that's not the main topic of this post, so Messie, people won't know you were wasted pretty badly... ooops looks like I said to much, sorry...One of the small presents I got from a uncle is this old toy. It's an original Faller racecar in the form of a little beetle. I can't date this toy but seeing the unlce age, it must be something out of the late 60'ies. The only thing I'm missing now, is the track to race the beetle, so if anyone has a Faller racetrack lying around somewhere, just let me know...

New DVF Ride
Ollie, oldtime DVF-member bought a new ride as it looks like he's a little fed-up with the bus-thing. And guess what he has bought: a true good old Slice N Ring Look 1971 1300 Cab. The cab is a real blast back to the past when Slice n Ring was king. Just look at the special paint on the rear decklid and the nice one-off wooden interior...
Looks lile the man behind the interior knew his way round with wood... We all love the Slice N Ring look, don't we... Likely for us, Ollie has some kind of plan with this ride including 1600 with Kadrons and some good old Sprintstar wheels.

Another Change of Style
Has Messie changed the look of his Bug Again? Looks like this time he went for the Early DKP-style with stock rideheight front n back with fatn skinny tires. Maybe he's just dreaming of Aronsons ride.
