X-Town Traffic: Indian Summer
Last Thursday, we organised ( well actually is Timme aka Dr Jeckill who organises it) a late season X-Town traffic. A little less then 50 rides representing Belgiums major VW Clubs (read DAS, Flatline Lowriders...). The Cruise thru our homebase and beloved Ghent hit some nice highlights including San Fernando Valley (for more info about the name of that place contact Fernando@gaysex.com or was it fernando@hotsex.com) and the the local Mc Do which hosted the endpoint.

More pictures to come when Bloggerstops giving me hard times. If you can't wait for more check these links: Ffreds blog Flatline Lowriders Blog Belgische Keverclub.

DVF-power
I don't know if I allready mentioned the force behind us which makes our club so nice and enjoyable? Well, the are called 'De Zeugenclub' and are the female DVF-division. They even have their own motto but if you are curious, you better ask Katrien because she always calls out the loudest... So may I present: 'De Zeugen Club':

Monthly Gathering
Last Thursday, we , Die Volks Freunde, held our monthly meeting version September like we're used to at the beginning of every month. By the amount of people turning up, we can tell that DVF is still running strong and some memebers take out their aircooled ride to get to our meeting point. This month, some kind of smart-ass brought his digital photo device along to take some nice shot of the rides on dsplay. Just enjoy these nice shots...

75k
While cruising in my beloved ride (which looks a little scappy) yesterday, I crossed another magical cape, being the one of 75000 km.
Well, as a matter of fact, the reading on my clock is original and I've have some paperwork which can prove this. To test the condition of my mechanics, I pushed down the pedal while on my way home and the OG 1500 twin carb engined set another 160 km/h on the scale. Not bad for a stocker I guess. Sorry no pictures to prove the reading on the clock as it was to dark to take a picture, but just ask Messie if you have any doubts, he was cruising along but had to let me go as his still running in his new engine...

Aircooled on 2 wheels
Old time DVF-er Pascal sold his very nice Notch some time ago to make room for a new project. It seems that he finished the new project as we are used of mr perfect Pascal. As a long time Harley freak he build himself a very nicely detailed Bobber with some neat tricks involved which give this aircooled V-Twin a 50-ies feel. Nice work Pascal, I can't wait to see you rolling in VW again...

Boys Dreams
While in Spa, we did manage to make some boydreams come true. Jelle aka Mr Lowfastbus always dreamed about blasting down the 1/4 mile in a hotrod. We could give him the 1/4 mile but did gave him the ride of his life in this very cool Hotrod.Looking at the expresion on his face, he really did enjoy it...
And Timme aka Dr Jeckill aka Mr Stripe had a dream too. Launching his Formule 1 car at the famous circuit of Spa and that's exactly what he did. Just witness it for yourself...

Le Bug Show Buggie Special

Some fine buggies turned up at Spa as well. These three featured onces were the best looking in my opinion...Just check them out for yourself.

I really do like the brown one on BRM's, maybe just a little to low...

Choices...
Dave supplied me this nice picture shot at Spa. I was wondering if these 2 nice rearends were supposed to be on the picture or was he just a little late to hit the button to take a picture of Davids cool Karmann.

I'm still in doubt which of the pictures above I prefer? And you, which one do you prefer, please leave a comment. Hi Ffred, you don't need to answer, I do think I have an idea of your choice...
