El Picaro
Today, I made some more progress on my to-be-daily-driver. All the welding to the body is done. Just some minor things needs to be done, cleaning the area behind the rearseat and the underbonnet area, before it can be send to my work to get it painted. But first of all the 4 wings need some work to get them ready for paint. Three of them need some welding and panelbeating before they are ready for paint. I've chosen to use good used original one instead of cheap-ass repro because the OG's are far better in fit and quality. I'm so glad that I'm starting to see the end of the rebuild-tunnel. After several years out of service, it will be great to get back behind the steeringwheel of my '86 Hecho en Mexico bug which severed as a daily driver while going to school...
