DVF at Chimay
Some weekends ago, DVF went to Chimay to organise the EUROPEAN BUGTOUR'IN. So we had to miss the meet and cruise night at Hannover. Damn, the second year I've missed it. So DFL-dudes, next year I promise to be there...

Most Beautifull Type 3
Damn, I was shivering down my spine when I found these two pictures on another blog. Could this be the most beautifull notch around? Perfect in every way: paint, color, wheels, stance, interior... Where do I stop, you tell me. took thes pictures of the Grunhertz blog, sorry for stealing but it was stronger than myself...

Back after some work
After some minor work, Steven finally got the one and only RIK back on the road.
The work was neccessary after a Total Loss declaration caused by a 'little' kiss in the back. So some months of hard work had been after him and now, Steven can enjoy his Ultima Edition back.
Testdrive seemed OK. Nice on you Steven, keep it and enjoy it while you can...

Gunter's Project
Some members of DVF are still busy working on their ride.
For example, we have herr Gunter who's working at his Karmann.
Actually he got to the stage of getting ready to get the new donor nose welded on.
Is there a light at the end of the tunnel? Keep up the good work Gunter...

Less than 2 weeks
is the time which lays between these 2 pictures. What a difference a 'slight' lowering job makes... One weekend your are doing some off-road acting while preparing the route for the 'European Bugtourin'...
One and a half week later, the same bus is slammed and got some signwriting. Which one do you prefer?

Lo is the only way to go...
After a weekend at Chimay getting the European Bugtourin' organised and some heavy off road with the bus (movies to follow), this is how my little T2a looked like. I think it was time to do something on the stance of the bus. So I got started I welded some CSP adjusters in the front beam and this is how things looked this evening. Yes indeed, you saw it right, the difference is 18 cm. Abd with the 135r 14 tires, I don't have to worry about tire to fender clearance. Next thing on is sort out the rear end to get it more to fit with the front.
